Should i approve trackbacks

This is a really great article! I am new to the world of blogging and did not really grasp trackbacks and pingbacks. Thanks for this! I was wondering what approving a pingback meant. I own two blogs and frequently link from one to another, so I have to approve the pingbacks. What does no approving it mean? Hi, thanks for this! It adds more admin tasks for you to do with the links to approve and you already have an internal link to cause the pingback so most do not find value in allowing self pings. I love it. So, if they do copy your article word for word, no one should panick, because Google will not give that copied post good ranking and they will hurt their website rankings!
